FIRE AT OTTAWA,
FIFTY PEOPLE TERRIBLY INJURED.

Ottawa, April 26,
A fire broke out in a mammoth tobacco store in Montreal and a panic took place anion? the employes in the building, who numbered upwards of one thousand. In the mad rush to escape they blocked the stairways, and fifty of those who were imprisoned by the block jumped from the windows, thus receiving terrible injuries.
