FEATHERSTON NEWS.

From Our Own Correspondent, Friday. Tho Piano Fund Ball took place last evoning, and was a decided success, there being about 140 present. No doubt the rain which coming down about 6 o'clock mUL evening and kept on all night, was the means of debarring many from being present who would have attended otherwise. The Hall was very prettily decorated, and the floor was in splendid order, in fact, everything was as it should be. General satisfaction boing expressed at the whole turnout.
