Tiiuksdav Island, April 26.

Reports from Hone; Kong state that many thousand coolies have struck work owing to tho Government enforcing the registration of the coolie lodging houses. The convicts and militaiy were engaged in coaling the ships and handling the cargo, but when the mail steamer ; left it was expected the strike would soon collapse.
