NORTH WAIRARAPA GUN CLUB.

A meeting of the North Wairarapa Gnu Club was hold in the Club Hotel, Masterton,on Thursday morning, the Piesident (Mr J. J. Mackersay) in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Mr Meredith's notice of motion that no member be allowed to go to hismark until his subscription is paid and that rule 34 be strictly enforced was carried. Mr E, M. D. Whatman's notice of motion, "That no shooter shall be allowed to' no bird' a bird except at his own cost, and that the referee shall 1 no bird' a bird providing it is disabled or walks away from the shooter, and that such bird shall not be charged to the shooter," was put to the meeting 1 and carried. Mr Waddington sent in a letter stating that owing to continued bad health ho wished to resign the Secretaryship of the Club. Tho resignation was accepted with regret, and on the motion of Mr Hives, Mr Bono was elected Secretary, unanimously,

The President and several members spoke of the great services rendered by Mr Waddington, On the proposition of Mr Walker, it was decided that the pigeon house now at Mr Waddingtoti's, be purchased from him atfo, and removed to Mr Bone's, the cost of shifting the same, not to exceed 30s. Mr Bone proposed that the annual subscription be 10s instead of 10s 6d, Seconded by Mr Mackersey and carried.

It was decided to purchase the sparrow net on offer to the Club.
