The Conference of Railway Commissioners has arrived at a basis o! agreement for bringing to an end the tariff war which has been goinc on in connection with the bordei trallic. Differential rates affecting the trade are abolished in each Col ony and a common mileage rate substituted. The profits are to bi pooled and divided periodically.
