MRS SEDDON AND THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.

The Baity Telegraph publishes t, long letter from the Hon Mr Seddon with reference to a transaction by Mrs Seddon in Bank of New Zealand shares in Sep. tcmber last. _ Tho Telegraph on the 26th March, published an article referring to a rumour to the effect that Mrs Seddon bad sold some shares to a Mr Davidson, and that this sale had possibly been effected because of knowledge by the Government of the condition of tho Bank not shared by the general public, Mr McKenzie haying stated in his speech .4 Pu'nedjn that • tho Government know tho'Bank' was yeak ten months beforo asking tho Houso)o pass fecial legislation in its favour. Mr Seddon goes fully into the circumstances which induced Mrs Seddon to sell her shares, and shows that she-was not led to do this through having received'any infor. matioii from him.
