London, April 17. The Standard asserts that Great Britain, Kussia snd France aro in accord to prevent China becoming a spoil to the Japanese ambition. Siiakuhai, April 17, Li Hung Chang is returning to China.
It is ofliciajh stated that the terms of peace include the payment of an indemnity of two hundred million laels, the cession of Formosa and the Liatong Peninsula to the fortieth parallel of latitude, the opening to commerce of live new ports, including Tientsin, theduesnot to exceed two per cent, the Japanese to be allowed to have the cotton factories and other industries in China.
