The Manawatu Railway.
Bj Telegraph—Press Association, WooDviM,E, Wednesday, The Minister of Lands stated here, in reply to a deputation which urged the purchase of the Manawatu line, that the Government had not decided to purchase the lino, and that nothing would be done till the Wellington-Woodville line was finished, when the Government would be in a position to dictato their own terras.
