Messrs Lowes and lorns report at their fortnightly stock sale yesterday, entries were considerably short of the number advertised, a fact due to the recent storm proventing numbers from the bush and country districts being driven to the markot. Of those penned ovcry line sold at prices atrifie in advauco of last sales, The fat sheep were light and made as follows : wethers, 7s Id ; ewes, (is ; store wethers, forward, 6s to Cs lOd; small stores, 4s lOd to 5s 3d; forward ewes, 4s lOd; soundstoreewes, 3s lOd; aged ewes, Is Cd to 2s lOd ; young ewos, 4s lOd to 5s 3d; lambs in the wool, 2s (id to 3s; shorn. Is to 2s fid, Hams: Lincolns, young, 1 guinea; aged, 7s Cd to 10s. In cattle: Small fat steers, £5; store steers, £4los. In pigs a largo number came forward, but were mostly small wcaners, and a few stores, tho latter very much in demand, and selling from 12s lo 15s.
