Yesterday the Minister of Lands and Jlr Hogg hail a ride round some of the newly settled country in the neighbourhood of Tutaekara, visiting the MeKonzie Special Settlement ,iucl inspecting some of the Hawent sections as far as the railway line. In the course of their trip they called at Onslow Park where they were the guests of Mv 11 Smith. "Kilty's" residence is one of the finest in this part of the country, and the visitors were much struck with the extensive improvements he has effected on a choice block of land within the last four years.
