(By Telegraph —Press Association.) Napikis, Thursday.

_ Tlio bankruptcy of Albert Kaiaitiaim, a son of the lute Maori chief of that name, came before the Court yesterday. The unsecured creditors are represented by £14(54, and the estate shows a surplus of £2734. The debtor attributed his bankruptcy to the Native Land Court Act of last session, which prevented him from in any way alienating any part of his property in land. He iiad arranged to sell two interests and thus pay oil'all his liabilities, but the Act prevented him from selling, except to the Government.
