The miners ballot is completed mid. the Secretary of the Minors' Association states that the two thirds majority necessary for doduring a general strike is secured, but is reticent as to details, this reticence leads to the belief that the supposition that the non-unionists working in the pits would throw in their lot with the nniou has not been realised. If this is so several collieries will not be affected by the strike and there would not be a genoral stoppage of tratlo.
