EKETAHUNA EXHIBITON.
(From Our Own Correspondent),
Tho Ekotahuna Exhibition was continued on Friday, when despite the torrents of rain which fell unceasingly during the afternoon and evening, a large number of visitors attended, Musical items were furnished during the evening hy:—The Eketa- | huna Brass Band, the Wesloyan choir, and by Mrs Kibblewhite, and Messrs Baillic,MorrisandDougherty. The Rev. |S. Pcryman also contributed a humourous recitation.
Tho results of the judging in tho cooking competition were mado known during tho afternoon. The prize list was as follows:—Home made bread: Mrs W. Campbell 1; sponge rolls: Mrs Worboys 1, Mrs Garter 2; short-bread: Miss Pelling 1, Miss Timmins 2; scones.: Miss Timmins 1, Mrs Worboys 2; toffee; MissFairhall 1
