M'-UW CASKS. , J. C. Ingram v. Pinlioy Bros.— A Defendants wore charged with ply- ™ ing for hire with an unlicensed vehicle. The evidenco of A. J. Hathaway, Inspector of Hackney Carriages, was that the defendants bad plied for hiro without a license, and bad been warned by him. .Fined one shilling, without costs. Inspector Ingram v. Morris Wright —Defendant was charged with carrying parcels on an unlicensed vehicle, other than passenger's luggage, and pleaded guilty. Fined Is, without costs.
Ingram v Hood and Johnston, Tlie charge was for allowing rubbish to accumulate on their premises, Defondants pleaded not guilty. J. C. Ingram gave evidence that ou 20th instant lie visited tho premises and asked the man who clears away rubbish to see Mr Hood. He had visited the premises previously and gave verbal notice to get the rubbish removed. The rubbish bad since been cleared away and his object attained. His worship im- * posed a fine of one shilling without costs. Ingram vJ. Elliott, Thii was a' similar charge and defeudantpleadc i notguilty.Fined one shilling without costs.
