BAD WEATHER IN ENGLAND,

(Received, March 25,10.45 p.m.) London, March 25. A terrific galo is raging in London and also in the Southern and Midland Counties.

Peterboro Cathedral and many provincial churches have been damaged.

Numerous casualties arc reported. Loxuox, March 25. The storm destroyed the Hippodrome in Earlscourt. Several persons have boon killed by falling chimnoys and many roads in the I Midland Counties have been blocked by fallen timber. Tho gale unroofed warehouses and otherwise caused considerable damage. In Southern England six vessels were wrecked but in the majority of cases the I crews reached the shore safely.
