(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dvkedin, Friday. The ship Annosonia, Captain Caltross, from Java for Conception Bay, Chili, was towed into port last night in a disabled condition, She has two thousand tons of sugar on hoard. She experienced a succession of fearful gales in which she was lost nearly all control of. A tremendous sea smashed the seaboard boat to pieces and burst a hole through the deck on top of the cargo, by which a large quantity of water got into the sugar and also did a great amount of other damage, and by washing away one of the hatches caused a large quantity of water to enter the hold through the lazarette. The hands had to keep the pumps going, there being over three feet of water in the hold and under the circumstances the captain decided to make for Otago Heads.
