FEATHERSTON NOTES.

(From Our Own Correspondent,) Tuesday. The children from the Vogeltown and Karori schools camo up by yesterday morning's train, and were mot at the station by Messrs J. G, Cox and C. Kent Johnstono, chairman and Secretary respectively of the local committee. There were about 100 children and 20 parents. The children were in cliargo of the following teachers: Misses Browne, Kenny, Fitchett and Legg, and wero accompanied by Mr Fitchett, Secretary of theVogoltown School Committee, The excursionists were taken to the Domain by the Secretary of our local Committee and here tho children spent a most enjoyable day, and many were tho praises bestowed on our Domain,
