CRICKET.
MASTERTON v. TERRACE fcOHOOL,
A very interesting match was played on the Oval between the above schools, and the interest amongst the crowds of younsters was immense. Masterton proved far too good for the city Boys, and won by 103 runs to 27. Wellington went in first, aud were soon dismissed, the bowling of Williams and Richards was splendid. These two coming cricketers also batted well, the former making 46, and the latter 15. The fielding of both teams was excellent, the Masterlon boys being extremely proficient int his department, and are a credit to their sporting master, Mr Darroch, who takes pride in showing them the various points in tho game.
