REFORM IN HOLY RUSSIA.
It appears to be a most marvellous circumstance that the late Czar should have succumbed to a revolution within his own bodily systom instead of becoming a victim to the machinations and oft-repeated plots of visiblo foes. Now that ho has died much speculation is indulged in as to the probable course to be pursued by his successor, the new despot. His first actions seem to be conciliatory in their nature, especially towards the Nihilists. But it is doubtful if their perfectly natural perennial revolt against horrible oppression will be overcome by the concessions proposed. Russia is suffering from a tyranny analgous in its influence on the people to that of Brigbt's disease in the human system. If the new Czar expects to turn aside the outraged feelings of the population by anything less than a drastic chango in theconstitutionalpowers conferred on the masses he will probably fail in his design. Slight concessions 1 will havo no more affect in the one case than a weak decoction of sennr tea would have upon the deep seatea primary causes of kidnoy and liyed troubles. Sufferers from Blight's disease—' which is actually a Nihilism of the kidneys—may endeavour to persuade themselves that the little premonitory symptom does not amount to much, and, if they treat themselves at all, often use some housewife's simple, which acts on the stomach only, Warner's Sin; Cure is the only known romcdy for tho suppression and extinction of Blight's disease, and it cannot be too closely pressed on the attention of victims to that insidious malady that if the first symptoms are properly treated, un-. told suffering and danger to life'will be avoided,
