THE WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.
(By Telegrapli.-Press Association.) Nelson, Friday. At tho Wesleyau Conference yes- ' terday, the motion to accept the offer of tlio United free Methoiat Union, was agreed to as (1) That this Conferenco expresses its gratitude at the action taken by the United Methodist Free Church and the Bible Christian Church of New Zealand, and declares its preparedness to enter into such union ' as speedily as possiblo, and remits the arrangement of dotailsto a committee. (2) That the following be a committee to represent us for the year on the Federal Methodist Council, the President and Secretary of the Conference, the Revs, Morley, Dewsbury, Fairelough, and i Parsons, and Messrs Harris, Blackwell, J. T Smith, Prudhoe, J. S. Smith, and Salter, (3) That on receiving proper uotice of the consent of the Bible Christian Conference in England, to their Churches entering into a union, and all the details being arranged, the union shall t take place from tho second Monday in April, 1896.
