LOWES AND MRUS' STOCK
SALE REPORT,
Yesterday's sale, both for quantity of stock and attendance of the public was the record sale of the season, the quantity of the stock generally being quite up to the average. The prices were still in favor of buyers, although there was decidedly more life in tho Bale, inasmuch ns nearly tho whole of the large entry was sold under the hammer, thus leaving very few lines to be disposed of privately, which is much more satisfactory to all concerned. The prices realized were as follows \—M wethers, 7s Cd to 8s; good stores, 6s 4d to 6s 9d ; jeung wethers, from 4s fid to (5s 2d; fat sheep, mixed sexes, fa's Id ; heavy fat ewes, 6s; breeding ewes, 2s (id to 5s 6d; culls, as last sale ; lambs, 2s 6d to 3s 6d. In cattle, fat steers £6 2s 6d; stores 70s to 95b ; young steers, 18 months, 57s to 62s Cd; young heifers, 50s to 60s; springing'heifers, 70s to 87s 6d; cows, 80s to 955. Owing to the lateness of the hour no horses were submitted,
