THE WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association). Nelson, Wednesday. At tlio Wesleyan Conference yesterday, the Revs. Nowbold, Lewis, and Leo were granted permission to visit England in 1806. The Rot. H. Simmonds was appointed principal of the Three Kings' College, Last evening's sittingwas taken up with the question of o. Methodist Union.
Mr Lewis moved a resolution that information having been received that tho United Methodist Free Chinch and Bible Christian Church accepted the basis of union adopted at hist General Conference, and that their quarterly meetings by large majorities concur in the proposal, the Conference expresses its readiness to enter into such union, and remits tho arrangement of details to a committee. The debate is not finished aud will be resumed to-day.
