Another Attempt to Rob the Masterton Railway Station.
Sometime during last night, the Masterton Railway Station was again burglariously enteral, and an effort made to break open the safe with a crowbar. The attempt, however, again proved futile, and the intruder left without disturbing anything else, his object evidently being to secure cash, Sergeant McArdlo is of opinion that the burglary is the work of the man whom the police have been hunting for the past few days, and who is still at large. Many conflicting reports have been sent to the police, regarding the man's movements, sonic asserting that he is hiding near Akura, and others stating that he has gone up the milway line, in the direction of Eketalmna,
