Friday. On Wednesday evening a meeting was held to discuss the ways and means of obtaining a resident doctor for Feathcrston. The meeting was very well attended, and before the mcetiug closed £7O was guaranteed, A committee was formed with power to add to their number, to canvas the whole district, and it is thought that there will be no difficulty in obtaining a £2OO guarantee. The following team will represent Featherston in their match with Masterton to be played here to-mor-row -.-Bennett, Culleu, Tocker (3), Feast (2), Penny, MeCarty, Frith, Burt, Allen and Donald, Emergency, Card. b "
