WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.

TO-DAY'S SITTING

Weuixqtox, Thursday. At the Land Board, titles were issued to J. McDonald and R, Cooper. Transfers were allowed Clarko to Bryant; Millet! to Maden; Parker to Roscoe. Applications were made by three members of the Wellington Fruit Growing Association to transfer their sections, comprising 60 acres, to a resident settler. A similar application was made by four members holding 246 acres, to transfer to Mr Cunningham, a local storekeeper. After a long investigation of tho [facts, from which it appeared that the original scheme of fruit I growing had burst up, and the I orchards had degenerated into grazing paddocks, it was decided as tho land was unfit for Village Settlement purposes, to allow the transfers,
