Eketahuna School Committee.

(From Our Own Correspondent). The Eketahuna school committee met on Monday evening. l'Jßent. Messrs Carter (chairman) iSpss, • Kibblowhite, Nestor, Smith and Syversen. The minutes of tho previous mooting wero read and confirmed. The Chairman and other members welcomed Mr Worboys on his taking charge of the school and joined in wishing success to the school and, slaif during his tenure of office as head teacher. The master's report was read showing the roll number to bo 184, average attendance 151, highest attendance 160, for the past month. Some necessary stationery and two cords of firewood were authorized to be procured for school use. * The Chairman reported tho purchase of a lamp and a tin of kerosene for the use of tho committee. The meeting then adjourned.
