Monday. Although the weather was anything but pleasant for picnieing, the public school children with teachers and friends met together in Mr Jndd's paddock at the far end of Kuralawhiti last Saturday and spent a very enjoyable time until the rain came on shortly after three o'clock in the afternoon when the whole company were driven home in the vehicles kindly lent for the occasion.
