KILLED BY A FALL OF EARTH By Tclegrnph.-Own Correspondent. Cakthiiton, Saturday, diaries A. Knutsen, settler of Dalefield, was killed at 4 o'clock yesterday byn fall ofearthin a gravel pit, when lie was at work. He loaves a wife and two young children. Mr Coroner Hutchison has been informed, and it is expected an inquest will be held to-day. A small bank had been undermined and gave way as Knutsen was working beneath it. He was struck on the back of the head and killed instantaneously.
