New Sheep Disease.
(Received, February 28, 11.30 a. A Stdxey, February 23. There is great mortality amongst the sheep in the .southern districts, Y from a disease which has completely ' puzzled cxpert-s. It attacks only tho best and fattest animals. The Government Veterinary, who has made exhaustive investigations, believes the disease is due to various forms of bacilli, bred in swampy grounds.
