The other scores were Miller S3, J. C. Tavlor 82, G. Hyde 77, T. Avery 73. Tho township has been very dead for the last few days. The concert in aid of the Public Library is expected to be a grand success this evening. Messrs Morley and H. Knight were very successful at the Woodville Swimming Sports. The Pahiatua Public School children hold their sports and picnic tomorrow, and also a cricket match with the Palmerston school boys on Wednesday week. A swimming competition between this Woodville, Mangatainoka.Jiawera and Pahiatua Public Schools is also to be held, with a 100 yards race between Morley, Knight, Wilson, and others for the Bush Championship.
