'Tm: School excursion to Wellington must be considered an undoubted success, and this result is in si great measure due to the interest taken in it by Mr Ilogg, Mil. .11,, and the trouble he went to in organising it. He ivas practically the marshal of the small _ army of children and adults which visited fcho Empire City, and we were glad to notice tlmt he was supported by a number of members of the local School Committee, and of the School teaching staff, as well as by a host of friends at the Wellington end. The affair went off better than we expected and yesterday will long bo remembered by both old and young in this town as a red letter day.
