MONTHLY MEETING,

The regular monthly meeting of tlio North Wairarapn, Benevolent Society was held this morning, Present—Messrs R. T. Holmes (chairman), 11. D. Dagg, E. I'eist, D. Guild, and W. H. Beetham. JIIXI'iKS. Somo discussion ensued with regard to tho question of subsidy on the amount, the Secretary pointing out that as the sum had been handed over for a special object, and to the general fund none could bo claimed.
