Our snips on Saturday, drew a very large attendance of buyers; in t':icl. was one of (lie bust salts since Christmas week. Property still commands attention, and although we only disposed of one I suet ion dining the week, enquiries were plentiful, In produce, there is little or no alteration in prices. Crass seeds arc being enquired for, but purchasers are reluctant to (jive (he prices asked, pending a more settled market. Oats are very plentiful, and settlers will have to he content with a lower rate than now quoted, if they wish to quit them. Potatoes still show a downward tendency. Poultry is in fair demand at our quotations. The market in rabbit skins, is much the same as last week, but sheep skins are down. Horses can be purchased at almost any figure, from 30s upwards, in fact stock of any kind is almost unsaleable. We quote— Eggs, lOd per dozen; butter, Tid per lb. Potatoes—Xl per ton. Oats—ls lid to Is lOd per bushel; oaten sheaf chair, 2s 3d to 2s Sd per sack. Wheat— Xs Id to 3s Gil per bushel. Cocksfoot, varies from '3d to Id per lb; all other seeds at proportionate rates; quotations for which, we will lie pleased to send to any address IJabbit skins—old to -Id per lb. .Sheep skins—Hd per lb. Poultry—ls lOd to '.'sod per pair for fowls; ducks, 2s 2d : geese, 4s Od; turkeys, 7s. Horses— Hacks, XI 10s to CG los; harness, X'.' l »s loX'll 15s : draughts, £lB.
