DEATH OF MR. H. E. RICHARDSON.

Only on Wednesday last, wo had tho painful duty of recording the death of Mr John B. Osborne, of Whakataki, whoso unexpected decease came as a shock to many. Last night, his partner in business, Mr Henry Edward Richardson, also passed away. His end was not altogether unexpected, as he lias been, /or somo time past, a prey to the ravages of consumption. There is little doubt, however, that the shock of the news of his partner's death hastened bis end, and by a strange fatality both will be buried within the next twenty-four hoursMr Osbornoat Tonui to-day, and Mr Richardson at Masterton to-morrow. The late Mr Richardson was a son of Colonel Richardson of tho 15th Regiment, and cousin to Mr Richardson of the Prisons Department, Wellington.
