THE COREAN WAR.
(Received February 5,10.40 a.m.) London, February 4. The British, French, ard Bussian Ministers at Pekiu and Tokio, haTe been instructed to advise the belligerents to arrange terms of peace. Shanghai, February 4, After a terrific bombardment the Japanese sailors landed on the Island of Linkungtung, in the face of a fierce fire, and stormed tho port, Both sides lost heavily. The fleets are still fighting. The Governor of Chefoo is beheading all runaways from Weibaiwei. The populace of Chin Kiang captured a party of officers from tho American warship Concord, who had accidentally shot a native. The Concord landed a force to go to the rescue; but the result is not yet known. Tokio, February 4. The Japanese Parliament has passed a resolution, that the objects of the war arc still unattained.
(Received February 5, 0.40 p.m.) Siunoiui, February 4 It is reported that the Japanese captured 10 of the Chinese warships at Weihaiwei, and in the attack lost two of their own vessels, which were sunk.
