WELLINGTON LAND BOARD.
By Telegraph, Own Correspondent). Wellington, Thursday. The Land Board has approved of the titles to Messrs Wallace, Nevins and E. Marley. Transfers were granted from John Gardiner (Maknri) to W. Freeman; and D. Puckle to F. Perry. It was decided to offer 2,000 acres near Cross' Creek, in ono lot, for selection. Thirty-seven special settlers, in about twenty Associations, were allowed to siirromliT their sections, The applications of W. Ramsay (Coonoor) and W. J. Bennett (Pnketoi) to be allowed to transfer their sections wore granted. Ablock of 3,29oacres at thenortheast of the Puketoi unsurvcyed land has been withdrawn from selection, and will be re-offered at the reduced price of 15s to 20s per aero. Wellington, Friday. A special meeting of the Land Board and an enquiry re the forfeiture of Mr Walthcr's village section, takes place at Pahiatua on 7th of March. The further consideration of the Mrs Sharniau case, is adjourned till next meeting,
