THE CARTERTON HALF-HOLI-DAY. [to the editok.] Sir,—Permit me to point out that your leader indicates Saturday as the day chosen for the half-holiday for Carterton; it is not so. A meeting preyenting those who were favorable to Thursday, voting against the resolution favoring Saturday was held. So far, a largo majority are in favor of Thursday, and there is not the least chauco of Saturday [ being fixed. Thanking you in anticipation, Yours, Ac., I Thursday.
