Considerable excitement' prevails on tho Charters Towers Stock Exchange,owing to tlie receipt of heavy orders to purchaso the scrip of various mines, on behalf of London speculators.
This movement is explained by the recent developments in mines, effected towards the end of last year. These developments wero somewhat remarkable.
