THE INQUEST.
(From Our Own Correspondent). Tuesday. The adjourned inquest upon the body of Maggie Mason, who committed suicide on Friday night, was resumed yesterday,
The evidence of the father and brother went to show that she was able to receive money from them at any time, and her" brother had given her some while sho was in Wellington. The evidence of the two sisters, the young man who found her, and the young man to whom she was all but engaged, was taken, and after a short deliberation, the jury returned a verdict that the deceased committed suicide whilst temporarily insane, andadded a rider that the cause of insanity was the groundless accusations which had been bronghtagainat her. \
