Featherston Road Board.

(From Our Own Correspondent,) Oil Saturday the usual monthly meeting of the .Road Board was held, 'resent, Messrs A. Matthews, Jas. )onald, W. E. Uidwill, J. Nix, T. Svaiis, Jas. McLeod and J. P, iussell. The Treasurer reported tlieoverIraft on the ordinary accounts at £34115s 4d. Accounts amounting to £312 -were passed for payment. As the amounts raised oil the loans for the Pnkeo, Tullocks and Martinborougli-Pukeo roads, were not sutlicient for the works executed, it was resolved to make application for a further grant of £5(5. £2B and £2B respectively, to be made by an order of the next meeting, and confined by a special meeting on February 14th. The Engineer's report was read and adopted, and after taking the requirements of Wardens the meeting terminated.
