CRICKET.
THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL MATCH. (Received January 13,11 a.m.) Aduaide, January 12. The weather was very hot and oppressive to-day when the third test match was resumed. The attendance of the public way very large. The Englishmen made 124 in their first innings, and the Australians total for four wickets, in the second innings being 145. (Received January 14,11,15 a.m.) Adelaide, January 14.
The Englishmen arc greatly disappointed with their batting on Satday, which I hey put down partly to their inability to get any sleep on Friday night owing to the intense heal.
The wicket though not up to the highest standard played well for double number of runs, as the Australians showed when they went iu the second time. The bowling aud tickling were splendid. The Australians say they never saw Callaway bowl better. Bruce played a dashing innings, the best seen on the ground since Lyons made 121 against N. S. Wales'lwo years ago. He and lrcdale hit 1!) off Lockwood in one over.
