The Borough Council met last night, the business done being unimportant. An auctioneer's license was granted to D, Crewe. Mr W. Redmond, who has long been a resident of Pnhiatua, left yesterday to enter into the occupation of the Star Hotel at Mastertou. Mr Redmond is much respected here The Horticultural Society's annual show takes place on Friday evening next.
