The Battiurst Murder, (Received Jan. B, 1.45 a.m.) Sydney, Jan. 7. In connection with the murder in Bathurst Gaol, a Coroner's jury was chosen of six prisoners and six free men. The former, however, stated there was a strong feeling among tho other prisoners against their acting in such a capacity,and threats of violence had been made if a verdict of murder was returned. They were consequently discharged and six free men empanelled. A verdict of murder was returned against Williams. The murderer threatened that if he got a chance he would kill the warder who gave evidence against him. Collision in the English Channel London, January 7.
