By Telegraph-Own Correspondent. Monday. A man named Patrick Oarrick, ia supposed to have been drowned in the Manawatu river. On Friday, he left Woodville forCoonoor, bu|®s not yet arrived. A man saw© enter tho river at Ngawaparna, but nothing has been seen of him since. John Millor was on Saturday sentenced to six weeks imprisonment for being,drank and disorderly on the racecourse, and a man named Fred Whitton was sentenced to 14 days for assaulting Annie Peterson, boardinghouse keeper. The new Courthouse will be formally opened to-m«rrow evening. The Pabiatua Borough Council meet this evening, The Gourlays had a good house on Saturday night, and the hall was packed for the sacred concort last night.
