TENUI NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent!)
Tho W.F.C.A. storebas had a new, suit.for the Xiiias holidays, which fits it splendidly. Spick and, span it looks now, and not before it was wanted. Mr Davoy, Tenui, has painted and varnished it throughout, in a most workmanlike, manner, and a new verandah, has been erected,
Mr.; James : Owen-.met, with' 'ii serious accident the other night, which will necessitate liis laying up for a few weeks. He was jumping and landed 'on a Blight mound, and broke some bones of his foot! Grassendale will be 1 lively next week, as sports are to be hold there on Boxing day, : , . Perhaps the Postal authorities will send the mails for Tenui oil Monday instead of Tuesday as the latter is Christmas day. One would .think the Tenui postmaster wants a holiday on that and New Year's day as well as any other man.
