Horablow and Co., auctioneers and produce merchants, report as follows for week ending December 22nd: Business in general produce lias been very brisk, and good prices realised all round. We quote—Butter 6d per lb, eggs lOd and Is. . Poui.TitY—Fowls 2s 6d to 3s 3d per pair, ducks 4s 2d, geeso 7s 6d, Turkeys, none in the market. Potatoes (new) 121bs for Is, old table potatoes 50s per ton, getting scarce. Rabbit skins 4§d to 6d per lb. Onms per lb. Oats—2s Id to 2s 3d per bushel. Wheat—3s 3d to 3s 6d, , Chaff—Oaten sheaf, 2s 6d to 2s 9d per sack. \ • Horses—Draught, £lllss to £l4; light do,, £9 to £11; hacks, £2lss to £8 ; light harness, £7lO to £l2. ; PiiOi'EitTiES—ln leaseholds we liavo still numerous enquiries, and fair business has been done both in town I and country leasehold sections.
