Last evening without much discussion in debate, the Masterton Borough Council proposed to expoud £3OO in constructing a concrete gas tank. The Council js doing a right thing, and we take it for granted that it is doing it in a right way. At last it has faced a difficulty that should have been met long ago, We also notice that it proposes to reconstruct its' executive Committees, and this we take to'be'a step in the right direction... The Council evidently is turning over a new' leaf,hnd is likely to be more of a live body in the coming year than it has been in thepast One. ; _;■; ,\/ ~;.':,■.;
