After the impact, there was a panic, and the awning deck of the Princess collapsed, injuring a number of passengers. A little girl was seen in tho water right under the sponson, and Miss Javas, who was struggling in the water, saw the upturned face, and grabbing the little ono, succeeded m raising it up above her head, at arm's length, A nasty sea at the moment overwhelmed both, and the child was seen no more. A soldier sprang in aud rescued Miss Javas. Volunteer Borland, holder of the Royal Albert medal for bravory displayed at a submarine explosion, which happened somo time ago at Middle Head,bravely rescued a lady, After the collison, life belts were promptly served out on the Princess. Both vessels were at nearly full speed at the time of tho collison,
