NORTH WAIRARAPA RIFLE CLUB.
A committoe meeting of the above Club was held 111 Mr J. Williams' rooms last Saturday eveniug, Prosent: Mr W. J. Weloh (captain) iu tlio cliaii', and Messrs Matthews, J. Williams, Wilton, Hoffiens, and Bentley. Tho minutes of the Inst meeting wove road and confirmed. Correspondence was road from Major Somerville giving details of tlic bronze medal competition (already published by us). Jt was resolved that all mombers competing in the bronze medal compotition fire'from the scratch, the match to bo started on Saturday next, and continued on each subsequent Saturday. It was resolved to rescind the Clnb's rule re. sighting shots, and'to adopt tho N.Z.R.U. rule. The cliallongc of" D Battery "to firo a match on the Monday before Xmas was accepted, the team to bo selected from the following :—l l ', Kumraer. Matthews, McLnchlan, Welch, Anketell, Bentley, Kibblewhite, Wardell, Hoflions, A. and C. Cameron, Morgan and Blane.
