WAIRARAPA DISTRICT HOSPITAL BOARD.
A meeting of the District Hospital Board was held to-day at the County Chambers, Masterton. Present Messrs W. H. Beetham, J. Stuckey, 0. B, Cockburn-Hood, Geo. Heron, and Braithwaite,
On the motion of Mr Beetham, seconded by Mr Stuckey, Mr G. Heron was elected oliairmau for the onsuing year, _ Ihe minutes of the previous meeting wore read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported a credit balance in the bank of £24 Is -id; receipts since last meeting: Wn' County,£9 Ss lid; W.S, County, £9 19s 2d j Paliiatua Borough, 6s Bd, Carterton Borough, 9s 8d; eontributions owing and Government subsidy amounted to £2918s 7d, The report was adopted. Mr Feist was appointed Treasurer for the ensuing year. On the motion of Mr Stuckey seconded by Mr Feist, it was resolved to request the Masterton and Greytown Hospitals respectively to furnish estimates of receipts and expenditure for the year 1895-6, not i later than Saturday 23rd March next, and that the statutory meeting of this Board be held on tho oOfch or the same month,
After passing the sum of ten pounds for the salary for two years to the Secretary the meetin? adjourned.
